Feldhof, Erkrath, Deutschland - In Erkrath-Hochdahl, the late Saturday evening, April 26, 2025, a dramatic attempted burglary. The police arrested a 35-year-old man of Albanian origin in a fresh act after he was found in a backpack with a burglary tool. Despite the violent resistance, the suspect was finally overwhelmed, but two police officers had to suffer injuries to the arrest and taken to a hospital.

A second perpetrator who also tried to flee was able to escape despite the use of a police helicopter. The search for him has so far been unsuccessful. The police gave the public a description of the sought: it is about 1.80 meters tall, weighs around 80 kg, has black hair and a beard, and was dressed in a black and gray sports jacket and a black backpack.
