Burglary in the café: perpetrator leaves 20,000 euros in damage in Darmstadt!

In the night of Thursday, April 24, there was a brazen slump into a café in Schleiermacherstrasse. A suspected perpetrator gave himself a violent access to the office and dining room and took valuable items worth around 20,000 euros. Among them were a monitor, two cash register systems, several tablets and EC card readers. After the theft, the perpetrator left considerable damage to property.

It is particularly alarming that several stolen objects, including a projector, four tablets and two EC card readers, are still missing. The police ask the population for help: Whoever made suspicious observations between Wednesday evening, April 23, and Thursday afternoon, April 24, around 1:00 p.m., is asked to report to the Commissioner 35 in Darmstadt on 06151/969-41110.
