Burglary in Darmstadt café: Police are urgently looking for witnesses!
In the early Thursday morning, the Darmstadt criminal police became aware of a break -in into a café on Dieburger Strasse. At 8.10 a.m., attentive witnesses discovered that strangers had violently entered the establishment. The attackers had already gained access to the café on the evening before, around 7 p.m.
The perpetrators chose a rather unconventional path: they broke into a terrace door, which may indicate that they were well prepared. Inside the café, they stole several objects, including a cash register. After the successful theft, they then made themselves out of dust with their prey.
Investigations by the criminal police
The criminal police in Darmstadt have now taken over the investigation and is looking for possible witnesses who can provide relevant information on the incident. The officials appeal to the public, especially to people who were near the café at the time and possibly observed something.
The telephone number of Commissioner 21/22, under which information is accepted, is 06151/969-0. Any detail could be important for the investigation, so that the police are dependent on the help of the population.
The effects of burglaries on the community
A burglary, like that in Darmstadt, always raises questions. The act is not only limited to the material loss, but also affects the feeling of security of the citizens in the area. Cafés and other companies are not only places in the business, but also social meeting points that shape community life.
In this case, it is particularly important that the community works together to prevent such incidents and react quickly when they happen. A conflict -free coexistence can only be guaranteed if the citizens support the police and provide information that contributes to investigating crimes.
The criminal police will continue to use all the necessary resources to find out the person responsible for this break -in. While the investigation is ongoing, there is hope that witnesses will report their observations and thus contribute to clarification.
