Burglary attempt in Erfurt business: perpetrators fail and leave damage

In the city center of Erfurt, there was a failed attempt to break into a clothing store in the night from Monday to Tuesday. Unknown perpetrators tried to break off the sliding door with an unknown lever tool, but the door stopped and the burglars had to flee without prey. In their failed project, however, they caused considerable property damage of around 500 euros.

The police were alerted and secured important traces at the scene. A criminal complaint was admitted to advance the investigation. The officers do everything they can to grasp the perpetrators and clarify the incident.
