The Hanau I police station and the Hanau city police also made headlines with their free bicycle coding campaign in 2025! On Thursday, the Hanau town hall turned into a center for bicycle owners who enthusiastically wanted to have their bikes coded. The demand was overwhelming, and numerous bicycles and pedelecs received their individual "Friedberg owners Identification number" ("F.E.I.N.").

This coding is more than just a gimmick: it enables stolen bicycles to clearly assign to an owner, which makes the utilization almost impossible. An effective means of fighting bicycle theft that the police created together with the city police and encounters lively interest!
