Cyclists fled in Gronau after an accident - the police asks for clues!

On Wednesday afternoon, April 30, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred in Gronau between a driver and a cyclist. Around 11:40 a.m., a 44-year-old driver wanted to drive from a property to Gildehauser Straße when he collided with a 20-year-old man on a fat bike. The cyclist was on the bike path against the prescribed direction of travel.

After the collision, the cyclist fled towards Eper Straße without a word with the driver. It is described as follows: about 20 years old, black-haired, dressed in black trousers and wears a Nike backpack. The police asks witnesses or the refugee cyclist to report immediately to the traffic commissioner in Ahaus on the phone number (02561) 9260.
