On Friday, April 25, 2025, there was a collision between a 36-year-old car driver and a 33-year-old bicycle driver in Ostbevern. The incident occurred at 2:20 p.m. in the Nordring and Lienen Damm intersection when the car sighter drove towards Lienen Damm and the cyclist was on the bike path.

The cyclist was slightly injured in the accident and had to be taken to the hospital by rescue workers, where she was treated on an outpatient basis. The Warendorf police recorded the incident and continued to determine.
