A remarkable incident occurred on Tuesday evening, September 3, 2024, in the Frankfurt station area. The city police presented a remarkable result in dealing with vehicles parked against traffic. During a routine check, the officials discovered an Opel that was illegally parked in the area of Moselstrasse/ Taunusstrasse. However, the driver tried to escape control and initially fled with the vehicle.

The city police could not be deterred. After a short search, the Opel was found again on Moselstrasse. But there was no trace of the driver and his license plate. In order to clarify the facts, civil police officers were consulted who made an interesting observation a little later: the driver, a 36-year-old man, and a 29-year-old companion approached the vehicle to attach "new" license plates.
