Fan riots in Nuremberg: Dozens of arrests after beating!

On Friday evening (May 9th, 2025) there was a massive argument between football fans of 1. FC Nürnberg and 1. FC Köln after a game in the Nuremberg district of Rennweg. Witnesses reported two hooded groups that were beating on Ludwig-Feuerbach-Straße before they ran away in all directions. The police were quickly alerted: numerous passers -by called the emergency call, which led to an immediate use of stripes and the Usk Middle Franconia investigative group.

As part of the violent clashes, the police arrested several dozen suspects. The criminal police have started the investigation and are now urgently looking for witnesses.
