Fire at Berwartstein Castle: Witnesses wanted!

A dramatic fire shook the region around Berwartstein Castle on Thursday evening! Shortly after 10:00 p.m., concerned citizens reported a fire in the "Spelzenbuckel" forest area, which extends southeast of the historic castle. The brave fire brigade was quickly on hand and prevented it from being able to spread that the inferno could spread.

But the flames left their mark: around 600 square meters of undergrowth were destroyed! The criminal police have initiated the investigation and is now looking for witnesses.
