On Monday evening, around 7:30 p.m., five trees of a Thujahecke were badly damaged by a fire at the playground in the street “In the Weiden”. Firefighters hurried to the site and extinguished the flames. On site they found burned paper pieces that could provide additional information about the cause of the fire.

A witness reported that he had seen three to four children between the ages of 10 and 12 in the playground shortly before the fire broke out, but it is unclear whether they are involved in the incident.
