Fire Brigade Stuttgart saves pets at apartment fire in Bad Cannstatt
A apartment fire in the Bad Cannstatt district recently ensured that the Stuttgart fire brigade. Around 2:00 p.m., a caller reported smoke development and a bang from a window on König-Karl-Straße. The fire brigade was able to intervene quickly and thus prevent further fire spread.
The fire station's emergency services were alerted immediately and could already see the smoke development from a window on the 2nd floor on the way to the site. The police had already cleared the building on arrival.
The fire brigade rose quickly and deleted the fire in the affected apartment. At the same time, all apartments were checked for other endangered people. Three residents who had inhaled smoke were handed over to the emergency services. In addition, the fire brigade managed to save a dog and a hamster from the fire apartment.
After successful fire fighting, the building was freed from the smoke with a ventilation device. All residents were able to go back to their apartments except for the fire apartment.
The assignment included several units of the Stuttgart fire brigade, including the fire brigade fire station with fire-fighting train and GW logistics as well as the fire station 1 with the small application vehicle for door openings. The emergency services were on site with two ambulances.
