81-year-old involved in traffic accident: slightly injured driver and high damage!

Leinefelde, Deutschland - On Saturday, May 17th, 2025, an accident occurred in Leinefelde at 12:10 p.m. when an 81-year-old driver of a Toyota Yaris disregarded the right of way of a 22-year-old VW level driver. The two vehicles collided on the side, which led to a slight injured. The young driver received sanitary help on site.

The police opened criminal proceedings for negligent bodily harm to the older driver. The property damage amounts to around 4,500 euros, and the Toyota was no longer ready to drive after the impact and had to be towed. The fire brigade was also in use to remove expiring operating materials from the road.
