Car in flames: driver saves himself on A24 in good time!

BAB 24, Deutschland - on May 1, 2025, at 07:05 a.m., there was a dramatic vehicle on the BAB 24 between Wöbellin and Hagenow towards Hamburg. The driver and her passenger noticed smoke from the engine compartment while driving and managed to get on the hard shoulder in time and leave the car unharmed.

Despite the rapid use of the fire brigade, the vehicle burned out completely. The highway was closed in the direction of Hamburg for about an hour during the extinguishing work. The police are currently assuming a technical defect as the cause of the fire.
