In the night of February 15, 2025, around 11:30 p.m., a violent fire broke out on the balcony of an apartment building in Schwabing. Several objects were on fire, and the fire brigade immediately alerted residents. This was able to quickly control the fire and extinguish the fire, but a 58-year-old resident suffered injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The balcony door of the affected apartment was badly damaged by the flames, and the damage caused by property amounts to several thousand euros. The investigation into the cause of the fire is now underway and are managed by the Commissioner 13.
