A dramatic misfortune shook the Katharina-von-Bora-Straße in Munich on Monday morning, May 5, 2025! A 40-year-old construction worker fell several meters deep into a pipe ditch at 9:30 a.m. and remained seriously injured there. The Munich fire brigade was immediately alarmed, which hurried to the site with rescue workers.

The rescue is extremely challenging, since the cramped conditions in the construction pit make it difficult to first supply the injured person. Courageous emergency services climbed down to help the man and free him from his predicament. An incident that strained the nerves of everyone present and once more illustrates the dangers on construction sites!
