Drunk into misfortune: drivers overturned with tree collision

In the night of May 5, 2025, a dramatic car accident occurred on Göschweiler Straße. A 43-year-old man lost control of his vehicle shortly after the confluence "Am Reichberg" and crashed against a tree with full force. The car overturned and finally came to lie on the roof.

Although the driver was injured, he managed to free himself from the car independently. In the subsequent examination by the police, a considerable alcohol value was found. The man was immediately brought to a clinic to undergo medical treatment. Rescue workers from the German Red Cross and the Löffingen volunteer fire brigade were also on duty, while a towing service removed the damaged vehicle from the accident site.
