Arsung in Idsingen: Police are looking for witnesses for straw bale fire!

In a dramatic incident, around 250 burning straw bales were discovered on a green area at Kreisstraße 120 in Idsingen on Wednesday evening at 11:30 p.m. The fire brigade moved quickly and had the straw bales burned down, while the police in Walsrode determined for suspicion of arson. Witnesses are urgently asked to report, especially if you have seen striking people or vehicles nearby in the late evening hours of March 12, 2025 (Tel. 05161-48640).

At the same time, a 44-year-old Ecooter driver was checked in Soltau. Her vehicle did not have a valid compulsory insurance, and during a drug resort she was tested positively for THC, cocaine and amphetamine. A blood sample was taken from the woman and her onward journey was prohibited. The police started the investigation.
