In a serious traffic accident on February 8, 2025 in buttah, on Schmiedefelder Straße, several vehicles collided. A 55-year-old driver of a Suzuki wanted to turn left onto the petrol station area when a subsequent VW Polo driver reacted and opened too late. As a result, a BMW could no longer brake and also crashed into the polo.

The Suzuki driver and the passenger of the BMW were injured and had to be taken to the hospital. The vehicles of around 14,000 euros occurred on the vehicles. Company fluids went out, which is why the Schleusingen fire brigade had to deploy with three vehicles to eliminate the dangers.
