In the night of May 6, 2025, a fire broke out on the Park & ​​Ride car park on Jülich Strasse, which completely destroyed an electric car. At 02:45 a.m., passers -by alerted the police and fire brigade when they discovered the flames. When the emergency services arrived, the vehicle was already in full fire, but fortunately no people were injured.

The fire brigade was able to delete the fire quickly, but the damage is estimated on an average five -digit amount. The criminal police have started the investigation to clarify the cause of the fire.
