In a dramatic incident after the football game in Hamburg-Bahrenfeld, fans stormed the place and suffered numerous injuries. On May 10, 2025 at 10:40 p.m., a large rescue team of the Hamburg fire brigade was alerted to help the affected people.

A total of 44 patients had to be medical care. Five fans suffered minor injuries, 19 were seriously injured, and one person is in a life -threatening condition. The injured were immediately transported to surrounding hospitals, while emergency services worked with high pressure on site to control the situation.
