Fire alarm in Stuttgart: Dramatic rescue operation in the roof structure!

In the night from Sunday to Monday, a fire broke out on the top floor of a five -storey apartment building on Burgenlandstrasse in Stuttgart around 1:28 a.m. Local residents alerted the fire brigade, which quickly hurried to the site with two turntable ladders and a respiratory protection squad. Dense clouds of smoke came out of the windows when they arrived, but fortunately all residents had left the building unharmed.

The fire could be brought under control within just 25 minutes. However, the cold weather was a challenge: 15 slightly dressed residents were looked after in the area rescue car, while a person had to be transported to a clinic for health reasons. The Stuttgart fire brigade was on site with numerous emergency services, including specialized units and a fire brigade drone that supported the extinguishing work.
