Wenden fire brigade: Twelve new heroes in dealing with the chainsaw!
In an intensive series of training, the fire brigade has trained twelve new motor chain sawers in the past four weeks. Under the leadership of Christopher Quast, the participants learned the basics of safe handling of chainsaws in accordance with the requirements of the German statutory accident insurance (DGUV) in 30 hours of the theory and practice. The accident prevention was particularly emphasized when working with these devices to ensure the highest security standards.
All participants passed the final theoretical and practical exams with flying colors. Kevin Frohnenberg, deputy head of the fire brigade, expressed his satisfaction about the course and emphasized how important regular training courses are in use. The Wenden fire brigade thus relies on continuous further training in order to optimally prepare the emergency services.
