Great fire in Rasdorf: barn burned down, animals saved!
On Wednesday morning, April 2, at 8:10 a.m. on Wiesenfelder Strasse in Rasdorf-Settelbach there was a devastating major fire. When the fire brigade arrived, two adjacent barns were in full fire and could not be saved despite rapid extinguishing measures - they were completely destroyed. The enormous temperatures also damaged the facades of two surrounding residential buildings.
Fortunately, a large part of the animals could be saved in the barns, but tragically died two sheep and about 20 chickens. A motorhome and two motorcycles in one of the barns were also victims of the fire and burned down completely. The property damage amounts to around 500,000 euros. The investigation into the cause of the fire is currently underway, and experts in the event of fire will be investigated in the coming days.| Details | |
