Big protests in Mainz: Police crawl hard!

On Saturday afternoon, the situation in downtown Mainz escalated, as two major meetings, one with the motto "Together for Germany" and the other as a counter -demonstration. Over 500 participants moved from Ernst-Ludwig-Platz around 3:00 p.m., while the counter-demonstrators started an attempted blockade in the big bleach. Around 40 blockers were partially carried by the police, while the personal details of everyone involved were found.

The police also intervened as counter -demonstrators to break through a police ban and attack emergency services. Here there was a pepper spray, luckily nobody was injured. In addition, a garbage can and pyrotechnics were inflamed on Flachsmarkstrasse, which was deleted according to further measures by the fire brigade. In total, the personal details were taken up by around 50 people, and investigations into various offenses, including bodily harm and property damage, are underway. Road traffic in the city center was severely restricted during the entire discussion, and around 200 police forces were in action.
