A dramatic fire shook the proximity of the Karlsruhe main station on Monday afternoon! Around 1:45 p.m. on the outer facade of a large company building, fire broke out, presumably triggered by construction work on the fourth floor. A large contingent of fire brigade, emergency services and police was quickly on site, but fortunately there were no injuries, according to the first reports.

The fire brigade fought with numerous forces against the flames and had to remove parts of the facade to control the fire. The evacuation of the affected building was carried out as a precaution. First estimates put the property damage incurred on a six -figure amount! An exciting effort that kept the audience in suspense and insistently demonstrated the dangers of construction work.
