Big fire in Oppenheim: several allotments in flames!

On the evening of February 1, 2025, the Mainz fire brigade was alerted when attentive witnesses noticed a big firelter in the allotment garden in the cattle path in Oppenheim. When the fire brigade arrived, several garden huts burned Lichterloh, and a total of four garden parcels were affected.

The emergency services fought the flames while the police and fire brigade checked the situation. The cause of the fire is still unclear and the investigation into the exact amount of damage is in progress. This is an alarm sign for everyone in the neighborhood!
