Held in need: Witness saves dog from balcony fire in Kassel!

in Kassel-Vorterer west, a dangerous balcony fire broke out in an apartment building in Parkstrasse at around 9:00 p.m. An attentive witness noticed the blazing flames and acted heroically: he climbed onto the neighboring balcony to knock the residents alarming. They immediately opened the door, and the brave savior urged her to leave the apartment to protect it from the impending smoke.

Disguised, the witness then entered through the violently opened apartment door and reached the fire extinguisher, but the flames already had too much strength. Finally he retired and immediately alerted the fire brigade under number 112. During his heroic commitment, he also discovered a locked dog, which he saved and thus probably secured the life of the animal. The Kasseler Kripo has started the investigation into the cause of the fire, but so far there is no specific indications of arson.
