In the early morning of March 11, 2025, around 6 a.m., an alarm broke out in a residential container on the fairground on Benderstrasse in Ludwigshafen: thick swaths of smoke moved through the air. The police and the fire brigade quickly hurried to the site and discovered that the 43-year-old resident from Frankenthal had forgotten to extinguish a burning candle in a glass container. Tragic: the glass was filled with flammable material, which led to the devastating smoke development.
Fortunately, attentive neighbors reacted immediately and deleted the fire before the police and fire brigade arrived. There was no greater damage. But the consequences are not without: criminal proceedings were initiated against the man. A dangerous start to the day - only worse things were prevented by quick action!| Details | |
