Kitchen fire in Bonn-Kohlkaul: Mother and child slightly injured!

On Saturday afternoon, March 29, 2025, a kitchen fire occurred in the Bonn-Kohlkaul district. A mother and her toddler suffered slight flue gas poisoning. The emergency call informed the fire brigade about the fire on the ground floor of an apartment building. Fortunately, all residents had already left the building when the emergency services arrived.

A respiratory protection team was able to control the fire quickly and prevent spreading to other parts of the apartment. In order to remove the smoke from the affected apartment, the fire brigade used a machine -operated fan. A total of 25 emergency services of the fire and rescue guards and the volunteer fire brigade were deployed to help and prevent worse as quickly as possible.
