Wolpertshausen, Deutschland - On Wednesday afternoon, a dramatic truck accident occurred in Wolpertshausen. A 64-year-old driver probably lost control of his vehicle on Haller Strasse due to a medical emergency and initially crashed into a parked VW. The impact hurled the VW against a power distributor before the truck raced through a garden and finally collided with a barn.

The driver was able to free himself from the truck and was taken to the hospital. While the rescue of the accident truck is still pending, the damaged barn is classified as at risk of collapse, so that the fire brigade and THW are in use to secure the structure. The amount of the damage is currently still unknown.
