morning horror on the highway 3: After two dramatic accidents with a total of five vehicles at Obertshausen in the direction of Würzburg, the route remains completely closed! A sprinter with a trailer wanted to overtake a standing construction site vehicle around 3 o'clock, touched his trailer and caused a chaos on the road. Uninvolved drivers had to brake abruptly, which resulted in a serious rear -end collision with two trucks. The property damage amounts to a six -figure amount, and three people had to go to the hospital slightly injured.

The clean -up work continues, and both the fire brigade and the police are on site to coordinate vehicle recovery and the thorough cleaning of the road. The duration of the full closure is still unclear. In the meantime, around 6.15 a.m. there was another rear -end collision with a truck and a car - luckily without injured. Witnesses of the event are asked to report on 06183 91155-0.
