In a dramatic night in Minden-Lübbecke, the police were kept in suspense by an uninhibited 30-year-old man who was under the influence of alcohol and was armed with a knife. The incident began in an agricultural estate, where a violent dispute between the man and his partner broke out. Despite the intervention of family members, the situation could not be defused, whereupon the police were alerted.

When the emergency services arrived, the man threatened with the knife and tried to provoke the officials. Due to the danger, the police and the special units decided to evacuate the residents of the apartment building. A woman in need of care was brought to safety with the help of the fire brigade. Finally, the special units managed to overwhelm and arrest the aggressor. Due to his health, the man was brought to a special department of the Lübbecke hospital.
