Motorcycle loopholes inspire over 1000 visitors in Dom-Esch!

Last weekend a remarkable event took place on the sports field in Dom-Esch, which attracted more than 1000 visitors. The Motorsport Club (MSC) Dom-Esch set the annual veteranenrallye from, which in its 42nd edition welcomed an impressive number of 159 starters. This event shows the fascination of historical motorcycle sports and attracts real lovers from the region.

With two trips and six skill tests, the rally presented both the drivers and their machines with numerous challenges. The first tour led around Dom-Esch, while the second, about 100 kilometers long ran to the Eifel. The participants reported the enthusiasm and the attitude to life associated with motorcycling. The exhibiting vehicles included remarkable motorcycles, including a scott from 1922 and a BSA from 1941, which was brought back onto the streets after their restoration in Greece.

The implementation of the veteran rally was supported by 38 club members and 75 helpers from various local associations, such as the fire brigade and the German Red Cross. Preparations began on Friday before the holiday to ensure the smooth running of the event. This committed community shows how much the local population is behind the preservation of motorcycle culture.

The MSC Dom-Esch was founded in 1952 and noticed an increasing trend towards events with historical motorcycles in the 1980s.
