Rumping tonnes in Viersen: Young people as suspect!

In the night of Thursday, the fire brigade was called to a garbage can fire at the Josefsring in Viersen at 1:30 a.m. The devastating fire not only damaged a house wall, but also a parked car. While the emergency services were still working on site, further alarming reports were received: another garbage can fire on a bus stop on Gereonstrasse was reported.

civilian emergency services were able to arrest three suspects near the fire site-an 11-year-old girl and two boys aged 14 and 16, all from Viersen. The girl and the 14-year-old had also been reported missing. After completing the first measures, the young people were handed over to their legal guardians immediately. The police started the investigation.
