In the night of Tuesday, May 6, 2025, a demolition fire in Schwabach out in an uninhabited apartment building on Nuremberg Straße. Alarmed at 9:05 p.m., the police and fire brigade reached the site, only to determine that the roof structure was already on fire. Immediately the Middle Franconia criminal service was sent to the fire site to initiate initial investigations.

The Schwabach criminal police have now taken over the investigation into suspected serious arson and asks the population for clues. In this dramatic incident, everything indicates a deliberate act, and the police are doing everything they can to hold the person responsible.
