Car thief in Soest: Skoda is burning after theft!

On Friday evening, the soest police were reported to a dramatic incident: at 11:05 p.m. the theft of a white Skoda Octavia was found. A 40-year-old woman from Soest had parked her vehicle around 6:30 p.m. in the "Riding Railway" parking lot. When she returned at 11:00 p.m., the car had disappeared without a trace.

Just half an hour later, at 11:35 p.m., another emergency call came in - a burning vehicle was discovered in Werl. On a remote dirt road, the Skoda Octavia had completely opened and burned to recognition. The fire brigade and police were on site immediately, but could only extinguish the fire. The owner now only remains at a loss, while the investigation to clarify theft and fire are in full swing. Witnesses are asked to report to the police on 02902-91000. A police helicopter was used to find possible perpetrators.
