Cyclists injured: Police are looking for witnesses for an accident to accident in Wolfenbüttel

On April 4, 2025, a traffic accident with an injured cyclist occurred at 10:45 a.m. on Frankfurter Strasse in Wolfenbüttel. A car driver got into oncoming traffic for previously unknown reasons and collided head-on with a small truck. The collision led to injuries to all three inmates of the vehicles involved, which had to be medically supplied by an ambulance on site. The Groß Thinked volunteer fire brigade secured the scene of the accident and removed the leaked operating materials while both vehicles were towed.

In addition, the Wolfenbüttel police carried out speed controls on the L 625 on the morning of April 5. Around 80 vehicles were checked in just 90 minutes. Eleven traffic offenses were found, and the highest measured speed was 88 km/h - well above the permitted top speed of 60 km/h.
