Randalier in Görsbach: Prevents the hostage with air rifle!
On Saturday at 4:30 p.m., an emergency call alarmed the police in Nordhausen for a heated dispute on Ernst-Thälmann-Straße in Görsbach. On site, an argument between a 42-year-old from Nordhausen and several residents developed, with the man's air rifle application. Fortunately, nobody was injured at first, but the situation escalated. The accused ignored the instructions of the police and barricaded himself in his garage.
Because of the possible danger that the man was owned by other dangerous objects, such as filled gas bottles, the officials first withdrew. As a result, additional police forces as well as emergency services and fire brigade were consulted. At around 11:55 p.m., the emergency services finally managed to arrest the 42-year-old, who remained without injuries. He was brought to a psychiatric department of the SHK at short notice, but later released. The man is currently custody, while investigations into bodily harm, violation of the weapons law, threat and resistance to enforcement officers were initiated.
