In early Friday morning, May 23, around 1:10 a.m. a fire broke out in a free -standing peasant barn on the Diepenbroickweg. An attentive resident discovered the flames and immediately informed the police and fire brigade. Fortunately, there were no animals in the barn, which made the Situation a little easier.

The fire brigade was able to prevent the flames from attacking the adjacent residential building. Dramatic, but luckily without personal injury, the fire could be quickly brought under control. Information on the amount of the damage caused by property is still pending.
