Shock in Aurich: Auto crashes against the guardrail - injured!

During the night of Saturday, emergency services, police and fire brigade were called to Esenser Strasse after an automatic e-call received an accident. The accident occurred on federal road 210 when a car collided with a guardrail. Despite the violent impact, the two occupants, a driver and a passenger, were able to leave the vehicle independently. Fortunately, they only suffered minor injuries and immediately received medical care on site before they were taken to the hospital.

The fire brigade from Plaggenburg, Middels and Sandhorst secured the scene of the accident and shone until a towing service removed the badly damaged car, including the almost unintentional bike carrier. In addition, the fire brigade had to separate the deformed parts of the guardrail with a motor cutting grinder. During the one and a half hour use, the Esenser Straße remained completely closed in the accident area.
