In the afternoon, a spectacular car accident occurred in Dankersen when the driver crashed into a carport due to the cause of the previously unknown cause and stripped a parked vehicle. Three pillars of the carport were badly damaged in the collision. The driver, who could not remember the course of the accident, contracted minor injuries and was brought to the Minden Clinic.

The fire brigade was quickly alerted and found that the carport was in danger of collapsing due to the damage. To remove dangers, the emergency services secured the carport with wooden bars and planks. For the rescue of the car, they also removed a support beam with a chainsaw. A total of 15 firefighters from the professional fire brigade and the Meißen unit were deployed to control the situation.
