In a dramatic accident in Mariendorf this morning, a 25-year-old driver was seriously injured. Around 3:30 a.m., the woman, who was traveling with a rented VW Polo, lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a bollard and a tree. In the collision, the car overturned and landed on the passenger side.

Fasted forces from the Berlin fire brigade saved the young woman out of the car and transported her to the hospital for internal organ injuries, where she had to be operated on.
