Shock in Paderborn: Accident with a horse trailer demands injuries and closure!

On Friday evening, April 11th, the spectacular collision of two cars occurred in the intersection of Eilerner Straße (L744). A 50-year-old Audi Q5 driver disregarded the right of way of a 32-year-old Mercedes-Benz and followed the inevitable crash! Fortunately, both women only suffered minor injuries, but the drama did not end: a horse in the trailer had to be freed by the fire brigade.

The accident trip ended abruptly for both vehicles - they were no longer ready to drive and had to be towed. The L744 remained closed for about two and a half hours, while the police and rescue workers were on site. The damage amount amounts to an astonishing amount of around 75,500 euros. A typical Friday evening that led to a chaos for some in Paderborn!
