Terrible accident in Willich: drivers seriously injured!

On Friday evening, April 25, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred at 9:58 p.m. at the intersection Alte Landstraße (L361) and Kickenstraße (L29) in Willich-Neersen. At the crash, two cars collided, with a 24-year-old man from Willich being trapped in his vehicle and was therefore seriously injured. The fire brigade had to free him from the wreck. His 23-year-old passenger was able to leave the car independently, but suffered minor injuries.

The second participant, a 39-year-old driver from Neuss, also suffered minor injuries. All three accident victims were transported to local hospitals. The two vehicles suffered significant damage due to the impact. The police started the investigation into the exact course of the accident.
