Serious accident on BAB 7: Sprinter bounces headstrong on a tractorizer!

on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 3:55 p.m. on the BAB 7 in the direction of Kassel, between Bad Hersfeld-West and Homberg (EFZE), a serious rear-end collision occurred. A sprinter raced onto the rear of a slow moving semitrailer and the Sprinter driver, a 35-year-old from Poland, was heavily caught.

The fire brigade had to intervene with heavy equipment to save the driver, who was then flown to the hospital with a rescue helicopter. The truck driver suffered a shock. The property damage is estimated at around 50,000 euros.
