Serious accident on L151: Car drivers fight for his life!

On Tuesday, January 28th, a serious traffic accident occurred on the country road between Wadern and Thailen around 3:32 p.m. A 39-year-old car driver suffered life-threatening injuries with a truck. The man drove on the L151, when he got into the oncoming lane for unexplained reasons and broken up frontally with an oncoming truck of a 48-year-old driver.

The fire brigade had to free the trapped man from his vehicle. After the successful rescue, he was immediately taken to the hospital. The truck driver, on the other hand, remained largely intact and only suffered minor injuries. In order to secure the scene of the accident and enable the rescue work, the L151 was blocked for 8 hours.
