Serious traffic accident: two injuries and pedelec drivers under drugs!

Pfullendorf, Deutschland - On Thursday morning, a serious traffic accident occurred on the L 194 between Ach-Linz and Pfullendorf, in which two people were injured and an economic loss of around 25,000 euros was incurred. An 18-year-old VW driver disregarded the right of way of a Skoda at the confluence of the Haige, which led to a violent collision. Both the young driver and the 67-year-old passenger in Skoda suffered minor injuries and had to be taken to a hospital. The state road was temporarily closed during the accident, while the police, emergency services and fire brigade were deployed.

In a further incident on Thursday evening, a 58-year-old pedelec driver fell on a bike path along the L 277 after he was allegedly blinded by an oncoming car. But the circumstances remain unclear. In the event of an alcohol test, a value of over 1.1 per thousand was found and the man confessed to consumed amphetamine. The police initiated a blood sample and are now investigating due to suspicion of drunkenness in road traffic.
