Security alarm at Bonn Central Station: Abnlick bag ensures chaos!

On Tuesday afternoon, March 11, 2025, a stray bag at Bonn Central Station ensured a massive use of the police and fire brigade. Around 3:00 p.m., witnesses reported the suspicious luggage that was parked on Gangolfstrasse near the Maximila Passage. Two employees of a security company that were nearby suffered eye irritation through escaping material and were treated on site.

rapidly reacting police officers could not assign the bag to any person. In close interaction with the fire brigade, the area was cordoned off and the maximum passage was cleared. After intensive studies, the emergency services managed to open the bag - and to facilitate all there were only hairspray and a deodorant spray in it.
