Scandal in Hetzerath: Unknowns light straw bales!
In the early morning hours of April 12, 2025, the fire brigade and police were alerted in Hetzerath when a straw bales went on fire outside the location. At 5 a.m., unknown perpetrators set fire to the straw bales, which was stored at the Marienhof. First they rolled the flammable material about 250 meters above the street towards Rivenich motorway parking lot.
Fortunately, there was no danger for the residents or for surrounding buildings. The Wittlich police are now looking for witnesses who can provide information about the perpetrators or the act.| Details | |
